Get ready for an easy Sunday BBQ.
So this afternoon I decided to hold another one of my little barbeques for no other reason then I can. Just a small gather of Jay, myself and 2 or 3 other people, to enjoy a nice Sunday afternoon together in the comfort of air conditioning.
I headed up to E Mart last night I and bought myself some nice chicken breasts, about 10 all up, for $8. Much cheaper then I expected them to be. Early this morning (we had a good night of drinking last night) I got up, cut the chicken into strips, and marinated them in teriyaki marinade sauce I bought up in Seoul from CostCo. While I’m not a HUGE fan of teriyaki, I haven’t had it for quite a while so I’ll be up for it this afternoon.
Along with it I made some paratta’s (sp?) which is a simple flour and water bread you fry in a fry pan and can make kebabs out of. The chicken I skewed on sticks, and Jay also made some beef ones in addition to mine. That, with some finely sliced onions and chili will be the bomb baby!
Of course I’m also looking forward to smoking one of my cigars that I also bought up in Seoul. I love cigars, not too many, but on a lazy Sunday afternoon they go down real well.
Anyway, I’ll most likely post again tonight. Take it easy folks.

It’s hard to go past E-Mart for anything. I can’t believe how wide a range of goods they carry. When I was in Korea they even had free buses from all over the place but the public transport guys kicked up a stink about their business being lost and so, just like that, they were knocked on the head. Whatever happened to competition?
