Staypuff on the Seoul Podcast. Links.
This week I was invited to be a guest on the Seoul Podcast, Summer Edition, by Stafford, along with regular co-host Jen and another guest Joseph Steinberg. For anyone not familiar with the Seoul Podcast, it’s a weekly podcast dealing with all issues from South Korea, dealing a lot with us foreign English teachers (although not exclusively).
The reason why I invited to join was because this weeks topic was related to North Korea, and seeing as I took a trip there back in 2005, they wanted to pick my brain on my experience there. Joseph, the other guest, has a keen interest in North Korean politics and provided a very good set of arguments relating to recent news with North Korea.
For anyone who will listen to the podcast, or has listened to it as it will be releases later this week, I apologize for all my ‘uh’s’ and ‘ahm’s’. They only come out when I’m nervous as did the extremely unusual stuttering that happened on a few occasions during the recording. I should stress that I don’t usually sound that nonintellectual.
I also mentioned a few links from outside my podcast and within the site that I said I would post. So, as promised, here they are. If you have any problems, or require further information, please le me know.
- Koryo Tours – The tour group that I highly recommend.
- Pyongyang Art Studio – Where you can buy North Korean art from Beijing.
A lot of the older photos where hosted on image shack, which no longer work although they do have the benefit of descriptions (I thinking clicking on the thumbnails still work though). If you want to see those, you can click here for a quick link. Otherwise, here’s a quick link to the photos from my Flickr site;
