Getting quotes for moving.
Not much time for anything interesting today. More sorting out of boxes and such, which I’m happy to say, is just about complete.
Over the next few weeks we’ll be posting books and other miscellaneous things to China via regular surface mail. For 38,000 won (~$38AUD) for 20 kilos, it sure beats the quote of $1,200 USD I got from Pickfords Removalists for 200 kilograms worth of boxes. I guess if we were to take furniture and white goods a removalist would be a better option, but seeing as the biggest thing we’ll be taking is the Christmas tree, Korean Post will be more than sufficient.
I’m also alarmed by the sheer amount of dust that has accumulated behind my computer. Nasty, nasty, nasty.

A removalist? Is that what Aussies say for movers? I have been finding there are quite a few words different from that of my American English. For example Chook for chicken and Stinger for Jelly fish. I find it very interesting to see the differences.
